The final conference of the CiVi.net project took place during the seventh annual Ecosystem Services Partnership Conference 2014 in San José, Costa Rica. The Ecosystem Services Partnership is a worldwide network to enhance the science and practical application of ecosystem services assessment.
Fundación Neotrópica and the Mesoamerican Society for Ecological Economics present the preliminary results of Central America and the Caribbean of the Global Atlas of the Environmental Conflicts in the I Latin American Congress of Environmental Conflicts (COLCA), in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
For its important work and contribution to the conservation of biodiversity for 29 years, the jury elected “Fundación Neotrópica as the winner institution of the INBio Merit Award for the Conservation of Costa Rica’s Biodiversity 2014”.
